The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released an official notification for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 for selection of teachers in class 1 to 5 (UTET-I) and class 6 to 8 (UTET-II) in all the government school of Uttarakhand. Eligible candidates may apply online through the official UTET website ukutet.com from 14th July 2026 till the last date of application submission 03rd August 2026 for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or in training or enrolled of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.). OR
Shiksha Mitra, passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from IGNOU.
Graduation (or its equivalent) and passed or in training or enrolled of 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C./ D.El.Ed.). OR
Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/ L.T./ Shiksha Shastri (Regular)). OR
Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed/ L.T./ Shiksha Shastri (Regular)), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of 4 year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. OR
Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or in training or enrolled of B.Ed. (Special Education). OR
At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or in training or enrolled of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Provided that minimum percentage of marks in Graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July 2011.
