State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for recruitment to the post of Junior Associate JA (Customer Support & Sales)/ Clerk for 1538 vacancies for Special Recruitment Drive For SC/ ST/ OBC Backlog Vacancies 2026 for the Advt. No. CRPD/ CR/ SPLDRIVE/ 2026-27/ 16. Eligible candidates may apply online through SBI career portal sbi.bank.in/web/careers from 07th August 2026 to till the last date of application submission 27th August 2026 for Clerk recruitment examination 2026.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification.
Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2026.
Age Limit:- Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2026, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1998 and not later than 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive).

The starting Basic Pay is Rs.26730/- (Rs.24050/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).
Emoluments: The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.46,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates.
