Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for recruitment to the post of Office Attendant for 572 vacancies for panel year 2025. Selection for the post will be through a competitive examination (Online Test) followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). All interested Indian Nationals can apply online at RBI official portal rbi.org.in from 15th January 2026 to till the application closing date 04th February 2026 for Office Attendant Recruitment Examination 2026.

An applicant should have passed 10th (SSC/ Matriculation) from a recognized board/ university.
The candidate should be an undergraduate as on 01/01/2026. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply.

Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.24,250/- per month in the scale of Rs.24250 - 840 (4) - 27610 - 980 (3) - 30550 - 1200 (3) - 34150 -1620 (2) - 37390 - 1990 (4) - 45350 - 2700(2) - 50750 - 2800 (1) - 53550 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately Rs.46,029/- per month.
House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank's accommodation.
