Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released an official notification for admission inClass 1 and Balvatika 1 & 3in all the Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) for the academic session 2026-27. All eligible parents can fill online application form atKV Admissionofficial portaladmission.kvs.gov.infrom20th March 2026to till the application closing date02nd April 2026for Class 1 and Balvatika 1 & 3 Admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas.
A Child must be 6 years old for Class-I as on 31st March 2026 in the academic year in which admission is sought (Child born on 1st April 2026 should also be considered)
Age for Balvatika-1, 2 & 3 will be 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years and 5 to 6 years respectively as on 31.03.2026.
A valid mobile number with SIM card,
A valid email address,
A digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of size at most 256KB),
A scan copy of the child's birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size at most 200KB),
Details of government certificate in case you are applying under economically weak section,
Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application.
