Indian Navy has released an official notification for selection to the post of Agniveer Apprentice from unmarried male candidates for 01/2027 and 02/2027 batch through Indian Naval Entrance Test (INET) 2026. All eligible citizens can apply online through the official Indian Navy website joinindiannavy.gov.in from 05th June 2026 till the last date of submission of application form is 29th June 2026 for Agniveer Apprentice recruitment examination 2026.

Matriculation examination pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and completed three years diploma course from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following diploma courses:-
Engineering - Marine Engineering & Systems, Mechanical, Production/ Automobile, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Repair and Maintenance, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial/Production, Maintenance, Machine, Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering.
Electrical - Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Separate exams will be conducted for Electrical and Engineering entries.
The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 mark each.
The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice).
The question paper will comprise four sections i.e. English & General Awareness, Science, Mathematics and Diploma (Trade Specific).
Duration of examination will be one hour.
Penalty for Wrong Answer. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
The stage II written exam will be conducted only for those candidates who qualify the PFT. The details of stage II written exam are as follows:-
